The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly, enhancing the charming atmosphere of the pub. Unfortunately, the food presentation during dinner was disappointing.

The Deluxe King Room boasts a comfortable king-size bed and charming country decor that adds a unique character. The quiet surroundings made for peaceful nights, and the garden view provided a serene morning escape.
The double room felt a bit cramped for a family stay, which might not suit everyone. Connectivity issues stood out. with poor WiFi and no mobile signal on EE, staying in touch with the outside galaxy was tricky. I also noticed the bath towels looked a bit tired, and there was a surprisingly strong smell of wet dog at the top of the stairwell, though this didn't reach the bedroom itself. Breakfast had a small hiccup—only one slice of toast was served initially, requiring an awkward request for more.

We had a fantastic night here, enjoying the spacious double room and the incredibly comfy bed that made for a good night's sleep. The lovely garden area was perfect for unwinding after our busy day, and we appreciated the good selection at breakfast. Just a heads-up, the bathroom door lock was a bit tricky, but it didn't take away from our overall great experience! 😊

Charming historic stay with friendly locals
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, as the location right in the village added to the charm of this historic building. The large bedroom was beautifully decorated and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide selection of freshly prepared items, and the delightfully helpful staff made us feel right at home. A small improvement could be made with the bathroom maintenance, which is likely on their to-do list.

I had a delightful stay at Bear Inn in Bisley. The building is stunning, rich with history, dating back to the 1600s. My Double Room was cozy and well-appointed, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. The atmosphere felt intimate and warm. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist. The breakfast was outstanding, especially the fresh ingredients. I loved the dog-friendly vibe. it made traveling with my furry friend so much easier. A slight drawback was the small bathroom in my room. it felt a bit cramped, but that didn't overshadow the charm of the inn. I would definitely return for another visit in the future.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying the cozy double room and the warm atmosphere in the pub. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home, and the food was outstanding—especially the homemade dishes. The village setting added to the charm, but the room was a bit on the smaller side for our liking.

Family with children maybe best to avoid
The pub had a lovely, old-world charm. I remember the atmosphere was relaxed, and the locals were friendly, making it feel like a classic Cotswold spot. really gave off that 'happy place' vibe. The Sunday lunch though. wow, the beef was cooked perfectly and the cauliflower cheese was an unexpected treat, not something you find everywhere.
But you know, it wasn't exactly cheap either, though I suppose you get what you pay for.
